This itinerary was designed around three specific experiences you asked for: a birthday photograph at the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi on November 21st, a turtle encounter in Zanzibar, and a beautiful beach finale in the Seychelles. Everything else was built to support those three moments and give you the time and space to enjoy them.
You arrive in Nairobi two days before your birthday so you are rested and ready. After five nights in Kenya you fly to Zanzibar for five nights of beach time and your turtle experience. The final four nights are in the Seychelles, where the trip exhales and lets you be fully present in one of the most beautiful places in the Indian Ocean.
Planning Note: This is a 2028 trip. All hotel pricing reflects current 2026 rack rates as a benchmark. Expect final 2028 pricing to run approximately 10 to 15% higher. AMM will confirm all pricing at time of deposit.

AMM will arrange your chosen excursion through the Kempinski's team. At least one island-hop is worth building in.

A trip of this scope requires comprehensive travel insurance. This is not optional guidance. Three countries, international and intra-Africa flights, and multiple hotels create meaningful financial exposure if something goes wrong.
Coverage Requirements
What Your Policy Needs to Cover
Trip cancellation and interruption up to 100% of non-refundable costs. Emergency medical coverage — your U.S. health insurance does not cover you abroad. Medical evacuation and repatriation — evacuation from East Africa can cost $75,000 to $150,000 without insurance. Baggage delay and loss. Cancel for Any Reason add-on is recommended given the 2028 timeline and potential for guest plans to change.
Zanzibar requires mandatory ZIC Inbound Insurance purchased separately at $44 per person before arrival. This does not replace your personal policy.
Critical timing: Purchase within 10 to 21 days of your first deposit to qualify for pre-existing condition waivers and the best Cancel for Any Reason terms. AMM will remind you at time of booking. Recommended providers: Allianz, AIG Travel Guard, AXA, World Nomads.
